The Role
n As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a Durma CNC Press Brake to manufacture precision sheet metal components. Working from engineering drawings and specifications, you'll ensure every component meets strict quality and accuracy requirements.
n Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Set up and operate a Durma CNC press brake
n
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and work orders
n
- Select tooling and complete accurate machine setups
n
- Produce precision folded sheet metal components to required tolerances
n




- Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment
n
- Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues
n
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop
n
- Work closely with the production team to achieve daily targets
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience operating CNC press brakes (Durma experience highly regarded)
n
- Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
n
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
n
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
n
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
n
