Our client is a Government Defence research agency based in Melbourne.

They are offering an immediate exciting opportunity for an experienced C++ Programmer with a specialty in graphics (Open GL) to join the simulation development team on the development of software components for the human-in-the-loop research simulator.
n The simulator is used to evaluate the human machine interfaces that support tactical crew members of a maritime surveillance system.

n

Your role will be to refine and extend existing software associated with the simulation facility.
n You will be responsible for delivering, and fully documenting, software to support all aspects of the simulation; including scenario generation,



sensor simulation, human-machine interface simulation, and data logging.
n You will work without technical guidance under the general supervision of a human factors scientist.
n You will be responsible for identifying requirements and developing software, along with planning and directing the work of other professional project staff.
