The Business

Randstad are partnering with a well respected National Commercial builder, who construct projects up to $400m across multiple sectors, across Australia. This builder has 30+ years of operation, with a strong reputation in delivering complex builds for blue chip clientele.

The Role

n

The Senior Estimator will serve as a pivotal technical leader within the Estimating function.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

n
- Independently producing high-quality, accurate, and competitive construction cost estimates.
n
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to Junior team members.
n
- Managing medium-to-high complexity and high-value tenders.




n
- Driving value-engineering outcomes.
n
- Ensuring every bid is commercially robust, risk-aware, and positioned to win profitable work.
n

Requirements

n

The ideal candidate will have:

n

n
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
n
- Demonstrative experience of at least 7-10 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator.
n
- Commercial & Industrial experience is essential
n
- Proven expertise with estimating software - Cubit, Cubit Select & Buildsoft
n
- A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.
n
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
n
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
n
- Unlimited working rights in Australia.
