Mango Hill Tavern is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Duty Manager to join our leadership team.

n

Located in the heart of Mango Hill, our recently renovated venue is a favourite with locals, featuring a vibrant bistro, spacious sports bar, gaming room, sweeping alfresco deck, family-friendly play area and a thriving functions business. With live entertainment, major sporting events and private functions, no two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Leading day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage, gaming and functions.
n
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards.
n
- Coaching, developing and motivating the front-of-house team.
n
- Supporting labour management, venue presentation and operational compliance.
n
- Managing bookings, private functions and key trading periods.
n
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
n
- Assisting with cash management,



revenue reporting and end-of-day reconciliation.
n
- Working closely with the Venue Manager to drive operational success.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to building a long-term career.
n
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager or similar leadership role.
n
- Strong food, beverage and functions experience.
n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
n
- Sound understanding of cash handling, revenue reporting and venue operations.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in resolving guest concerns.
n
- Effective labour management and rostering experience.
n
- Proficient computer skills.Current RSA & RSG certificates (RMLV highly regarded or willingness to obtain).
n
