Job Description

Regional Group Australia are currently seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter to join their team South Keswick Quarry, based in Dubbo.

n

This role is suitable fora Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter that is punctual, has an excellent work ethic, and takes pride in their work.

n

Open to Agricultural, Road Transport and Light Vehicle Mechanic, looking to transition into Plant Mechanic.

n

Key requirements:

n

n
- Carrying out mechanic repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles, plant and mobile equipment
n
- Ownership of repairs, working efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n
- Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining high quality standards.
n
- Coordinating with suppliers sourcing parts on quality and best price
n
- Maintaining skilled and clear communication with all staff
n
- Liaising with supervisors and quarry managers regularly
n





n

Knowledge and experience required:

n

n
- 2 years + experience in a repair and maintenance role
n
- Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions
n
- Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes and suspension
n
- Ability to work flexible hours
n
