Warragul Toyota is currently seeking a fully qualified Automotive Service Technician to join our busy and professional Service Department.

n

Toyota experience or Toyota factory training would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

About the Role

n

Working as part of our Service Department, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance to a high professional standard.

n

You will work alongside an experienced team of technicians, service advisors and workshop support staff, with access to dealership systems, technical information, training and genuine parts.

n

This role would suit a qualified technician who takes pride in their workmanship, has robust attention to detail and is committed to delivering a high standard of customer service.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Your day-to-day duties will include:

n

n
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs
n
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
n
- Completing work in line with dealership procedures and manufacturer standards
n
- Using diagnostic equipment and technical resources
n




- Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying required repairs
n
- Accurately completing repair orders, job cards and service documentation
n
- Working closely with Service Advisors and workshop team members
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
n
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately and to a high standard
n
- Supporting apprentices and junior technicians where required
n

About You

n

The successful applicant will have:

n

n
- Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic
n
- Previous experience in a dealership, workshop or automotive service environment
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
- A high level of attention to detail
n
- Pride in workmanship and a commitment to quality
n
- The ability to work well in a team environment
n
- Good communication and time management skills
n
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach
n
- A current Victorian Driver Licence
n

n

Desirable Skills and Experience

n

The following would be highly regarded, but are not essential:

- Toyota dealership experience
n
- Toyota factory training or Toyota diagnostic experience
n
- Previous dealership workshop experience
n
- Hybrid vehicle knowledge or hybrid training
n
- Roadworthy licence
n
- Experience using dealership systems and diagnostic equipment
n
