Pharmacist Advanced - Drug Utilisation Evaluation

We're excited to welcome a Pharmacist Advanced Drug Utilisation Evaluation to Pharmacy, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Provide advanced specialist clinical pharmacy services by leading Drug Use Evaluation (DUE) activities, applying expert clinical judgement, and promoting the safe, effective and evidence-based use of medicines across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
n
- Lead quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives through medication audits, evaluation of prescribing practices, policy development, and reporting outcomes to support high-quality patient care.
n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert medication advice, influence clinical decision-making, and contribute to organisational strategies that optimise medicines management.

- Drive education, research and professional development by delivering training, supporting clinical research, mentoring staff, and evaluating the impact of education and quality improvement initiative.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $118 395 p.a., comprising salary rates: $73.12 - $76.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Fixed term temporary part time position available for 12 months, 38 hrs p.f.). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
