About the Role

n

We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Yard Person to join our team in Toowoomba (Immediate start available). You will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation, maintenance, and cleanliness of our yard and equipment, ensuring everything is ready to support our active project sites and hire operations.

Key Responsibilities

n

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised yard environment

n

Assist with loading and unloading plant, equipment, tools, and materials

n

Movement of heavy equipment around the yard

n





Conduct routine cleaning of machinery and plant equipment

n

Carry out on hire/off hire inspections of equipment and generate reports

n

Assist workshop and site teams with equipment preparation and delivery

n

Comply with company safety standards and procedures

n

About You

n

Experience in a similar yard, workshop, or construction support role

n

Ability to work independently

n

Current truck drivers licence (minimum Heavy Rigid)

n

Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) highly regarded

n

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

n

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

n

Ability to operate various earthmoving equipment items (RII competencies desirable but not essential)
