Solicitor (Commission-Based)

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Solicitor to join our growing team on a commission-based remuneration structure. This role is ideal for a solicitor who is confident in managing client matters, developing their own client base and building a successful legal practice with the support of an established firm.

n

The successful candidate will enjoy flexibility and autonomy while having access to the firm's resources, administrative support and professional network.

n

Fluency in both English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Managing files across criminal, commercial, property and family law matters;
n
- Providing legal advice and representation to clients;
n
- Attending court appearances, mediations and client conferences;
n
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, affidavits and contracts;
n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships;
n




- Developing new business opportunities and growing your client base; and
n
- Working collaboratively with the firm's team to deliver outstanding client service.

Requirements

n

n
- Admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales with a current practising certificate;
n
- Fluent in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese (essential);
n
- Willing to work on a commission-based remuneration structure;
n
- Strong advocacy, drafting and client management skills;
n
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload;
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
n
- Self-motivated, professional and commercially minded; and
n
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
