We are a specialist Prosthodontic practice looking for a well trained and experienced person to join our friendly and qualified team and assist in providing an exceptional level of care and administration to our patients. This is a multi-layered position working as part of a Team.

To be successful in this role you will:

n

n
- Have the relevant formal training and at least five years' work experience as a chairside assistant.
n
- Hold a Certificate IV Dental Assisting qualification.
n
- Provide an excellent level of chairside assistance, and skilled in four-handed instrument delivery
n
- Experienced in implant-based restorative procedures, particularly with the Straumann system.
n
- Experience preferred (but not essential) in the use of the Ultimo Dental Software system
n
- Understand and practise a high level of infection control procedures
n
- Multi-task and desire to contribute postently within a team

- Demonstrate a strong focus on patient care
n
- Show excellence in communication and presentation skills
n
- Provide effective patient administrative management
n

Four days per week (8:30am - 5:30pm). Closed Fridays

Job Description/Duties:

n

The role involves the primary role of chairside assisting specialist Prosthodontists who are involved with high level patient care and a broad range of prosthodontic procedures, particularly involving dental implants.

n

in addition, some secondary tasks at various times are included in the role:

n

Secondary task: Administration (as required):

n

n
- Greeting patients on arrival or attending to patient inquiries.
n
- General office duties as determined by Office Manager.
n
- Allocation of patient appointments sequences through Ultimo Dental Software System.
n
- Basic competence in the preparation and completion of patient accounts and receipt of payment via Ultimo Software System.
