About the role
n
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the role is to perform and direct all operational functions, in relation to a vessels port call as direct by the principal and in accordance with government legislation and regulations, port rules and ISS procedures and policies to ensure an effective vessel port call.

Main Responsibilities

- Performing vessel operations as directed by port management
n
- Delivering a positive customer experience to both internal and external stakeholders
n
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and principal requirements
n
- Processing clearances of all vessels
n
- Performing all arrangements regarding crew movements, medical cases and crew shore passes in coordination with main office and vessel/principal requirements
n
- Establish and maintain relationships with principals, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities and service providers
n
- Performing accurate and timely database management
n
- Ensuring pre-funding requests are forwarded to the principal prior to vessel arrivals
n
- Providing the port and head office management with update information on local rules and regulations, changes in port charges, and related requirements other requirements
n
- Ensuring all cargoes, including dangerous goods and special cargo, are balanced, reconciled and reported within required timeframes.

- Manage supplier invoice processing in conjunction with the shared service team centre.
n
- Develop and maintain relationships with principals, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities and service providers.
