About the Role
n
We're on the lookout for an experienced Building Expert Witness to conduct independent inspections and prepare expert reports.
n

Competitive hourly rate: AU$100.00 – AU$150.00 per hour

All admin, bookings, and scheduling handled by our team

Full training and ongoing support

What You'll Be Doing
n
Conducting independent building expert witness inspections across Sydney metro and greater NSW
n
Preparing expert reports for Tribunal, Court, and AFCA matters
n
Attending tribunal or court hearings as required
n
Representing Owner Inspections with professionalism and integrity
n
What We're Looking For
n
Qualifications & Experience:
n
NSW Contractor Licence (Builder) or Building Inspector qualification
n
Minimum 10 years' experience in building or construction
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Building Expert Witness role
n
At least 10 completed expert reports for Tribunal, Court, or AFCA
n
Experience attending tribunal or court hearings (preferred)
n
Engineering qualification (advantageous but not essential)
n
General Requirements:
n
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
n
Current Police Check
n
Proficient with iPad and computer systems, confident reading plans
n
Strong verbal and written communication skills
n
Able to work independently and represent our brand professionally
n
Physically capable of accessing roof spaces and subfloor areas
n
Available Monday to Friday, with occasional travel across NSW
n
