UGL Lineworker Positions

UGL is seeking 2 experienced Lineworkers to join our team supporting the Powercor metro distribution contract. This is a metro-focused position based out of our Tullamarine depot, servicing Melbourne's major distribution network. Ideal for Lineworkers wanting to step away from rosters, travel, or FIFO, and return to a structured Monday to Friday lifestyle. You'll join a safety‐led, high‐performing team delivering essential network maintenance while enjoying consistency, predictability, and time at home.

Key Duties
n

- Overhead distribution linework across the metro network
n
- Live line Glove & Barrier work (where qualified)
n
- Fault response, planned maintenance and defect rectification
n
- Working on a busy, technically diverse metro network
n
- Collaborating within an experienced, professional crew focused on safety and quality outcomes
n
n

What you will need
n
n
- Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead
n
- For G & B applicants: Glove & Barrier qualification and live line experience
n
- For Distribution applicants: strong overhead network experience
n
- Victorian Lineworker Registration (Orange Card)
n
- HR Drivers Licence
n
- High Risk Work Licences: EWP, Dogging and/or Rigging (highly regarded)
n
- White Card, First Aid, CPR and relevant industry tickets
n
n
Please note a pre‐employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening test, will be required.
