Job Description
Mega Recruitment is partnering with a well-established international architecture and design practice to find an experienced Associate Architect for its Sydney studio.
n
This is a recognised global brand with a strong reputation for delivering large, complex and highly technical projects across Australia and internationally. The practice also offers flexible working hours, two days working from home, bonus structures and a clear pathway into broader studio leadership.

The Role
n
You'll take the lead across complex projects, helping drive design, delivery, coordination and team performance from concept through to construction.
n
The studio is looking for someone who can:
n
n
- Lead major projects and keep the team moving
n
- Manage clients, consultants and key stakeholders
n
- Run programmes, fees, scope and project resourcing
n
- Review design and documentation packages
n
- Work through technical, delivery and coordination issues
n
- Mentor architects and emerging project leaders
n
- Keep projects commercially and creatively on track
n
- Contribute to the wider direction of the studio
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
You'll need:
n
n
- Around 15-20+ years of architectural experience
n
- Current experience leading major projects
n
- Strong local Australian project experience
n
- Experience working within the Sydney market
n
- A solid understanding of design, documentation and construction
n
- Strong client-facing and team leadership skills
n
- Commercial awareness and confidence managing project fees
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
n
Experience across complex commercial, residential or technology-led projects will be highly regarded.
n
Australian architectural registration would also be advantageous.
n
