The Opportunity

n

An ASX listed global industry leader with a Melbourne head-office our client is seeking a Commercial Manager to act as the key strategic business partner to the Sales & Supply Chain functions. This is a critical senior commercial leadership opportunity to ensure the company's financial success and strategic growth.

n

The Challenge

n

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the focus of the position is to enable, drive and identify opportunities for revenue growth, profit enhancement and cost optimization. Additional responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Acting as a critical member of the finance SLT, the Commercial Manager is responsible for providing commercial support to the General Manager Sales, CFO, Supply Chain Manager, CEO and broader executive leadership team
n
- Developing financial plans, analysing performance and implementing commercial strategies aligned with business objectives
n
- Evaluate market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision making
n
- Be intimately involved in the Sales & Operations Planning process including driving significant improvements and building and owning the S&OP; financial model
n
- Risk management and performance improvement
n
- Play a critical role with the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process
n

The Expertise

n

- CA/CPA/MBA qualified you have significant experience in a medium to large, complex business partnering sales and supply chain functions
n




- Superior commercial orientation with demonstrated experiencing partnering operational executives
n
- Transformational zeal and a flair for process improvement, this organisation is embarking on a growth trajectory whilst undergoing change and transformation
n
- You are a hands on commercial leader with the ability to be 'in the detail'
n
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
n
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders
n
- Strong organisational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work both autonomously and as a team
n
