Turnbulls Gippsland is on the lookout for a Sales Consultant to join our growing team.

Our dealership is located in Sale and we service the wider Gippsland area. The Turnbull name and the motor vehicle/transport industry have been associated since 1946, spanning four generations.

At Turnbulls Gippsland, our aim is to be a one-stop truck shop, for all truck and bus needs. This position will be responsible for selling a diverse range of popular and in demand vehicles.You must be able to demonstrate a professional image, strong presentation, negotiation skills and technical aptitude.

n

This position is based at Turnbulls Gippsland in Sale where you will be reportingdirectly to the Branch Manager and Dealer Principal.

n

Your key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Being able to proactively manage a wide geographical spread of existing and to build new customers.
n
- To establish strong relationships that deliver the business plans and achieve long term sustainable growth.
n
- Aid in the development & implementation of sales strategies that maximize profitability and increase the customer network.
n
- Identify new prospects and develop an in-depth understanding of the customers' needs whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service.
n
- Conducting site assessments for customers to identify appropriate equipment solutions that best meet their needs.
n




- Conducting product demonstrations in the field and in house.
n
- Liaising with body builders for quoting of bodies to ensure that the customers' requirements are met.
n
- Actively promote both our Service and Parts Departments.
n

Selection Criteria includes:

n

n
- Prior sales experience in the industry is not required however knowledge of the truck industry will be highly regarded.
n
- Excellent communication and time management skills
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Demonstrate commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all levels
n
- Can work independently and as part of a team
n
- Able to follow and maintain established processes
n
- Ideally hold a current Heavy Rigid Truck licence or greater
n
