Forklift Operator/ Warehouse General Hand

We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual with a positive attitude to join our friendly and hardworking team in Homebush.

n

Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor, this is a hands-on role involving the following responsibilities:

n

n
- Manual handling of heavy loads – accurately picking and packing orders
n
- Forklift operations – unloading containers and stacking items in allocated areas and loading trucks for dispatch
n
- General warehouse duties – keeping the site clean, tidy and running smoothly while contributing to continuous improvement activities
n

n

And, as part of a small team there is the opportunity to learn logistics systems and processes to grow and develop your skill set to contribute to logistics administration tasks.

What You'll Need

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Minimum 2 years recent warehousing and forklift operations experience
n
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
n




- A valid forklift licence with high-reach and counterbalance proficiency
n

n

- A robust work ethic, positive attitude and reliable
n
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks and heavy lifting of up to 30kg
n
- Proficient communication and strong literacy and numeracy skills
n
- An ability to learn processes and follow instructions
n
- A commitment to working safely with a safety-first approach to all tasks
