With a strong reputation for excellence, they specialise in machinery installation, servicing, maintenance, and spare parts distribution across Australia and Recent Zealand.

Due to consistent growth over the past 15+ years, an exciting prospect has become available for an experienced Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team. You'll play a key role in installing and commissioning state-of-the-art machinery, delivering outstanding technical support and customer service.

About the Role:
n
Working both independently and within a supportive team, your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Installing and commissioning new steel and bar bending machines
n
- Training operators on safe and effective machine use
n
- Conducting fault finding, machine cleaning, repairs, and rebuilds
n
- Writing detailed service reports and recommending future maintenance or parts
n
- Maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
We're seeking a self-motivated individual with a background in manufacturing or as a field technician, ideally with experience in mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems.
n
You will also need to demonstrate:
n
n
- Certificate III or IV in Engineering or relevant trade qualification
n
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for up to 12+ days at a time
n
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
- Proven mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experienceli>

- A strong commitment to customer service
n
- Excellent communication and personal presentation
n
- A proactive approach to promoting service and parts sales
n
n
Initial training will be provided at the Melbourne head office and through shadowing experienced technicians at local installations.
