We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operator to join a well-established retail trade business in Orange. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, takes pride in accuracy and safety and is committed to delivering outstanding service to both internal teams and customers.

Working closely with the Store Manager and wider business, you will play a key role in warehouse operations, stock management, customer order fulfilment and maintaining a safe, organised workplace.

Responsibilities

n

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations while ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
n
- Receive incoming stock in accordance with company procedures.
n
- Manage stock movements and investigate inventory discrepancies.
n
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
n
- Ensure warehouse presentation and housekeeping standards remain exceptionally high.
n
- Safely load and unload vehicles.
n
- Assist with customer collections and deliveries where required.
n
- Build positive relationships with customers and third-party transport providers.
n
- Resolve customer enquiries and issues professionally.
n
- Work collaboratively with sales, logistics, customer service and warehouse teams.
n
- Support the Store Manager with daily operational requirements.
n




- Respond promptly to management requests and changing business priorities.
n
- Participate in ongoing training and develop skills across multiple warehouse functions.
n
- Continuously build product knowledge.
n
- Contribute ideas that improve operational efficiency and customer service.
n
- Follow all WHS policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
n
- Maintain a strong focus on achieving a zero-harm workplace.
n
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and cleaning.
n
- Support team planning by effectively prioritising workload.
n
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork and a positive attitude at all times.

Your Profile

- Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience.
n
- Experience within retail trade, wholesale or distribution environments is highly regarded.
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail.
n
- Ability to accurately manage inventory and stock movements.
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
n
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
n
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
n
- Commitment to workplace safety.
n
- Ability to perform manual handling duties throughout the day.
n
- Basic computer literacy and experience using inventory systems.

- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy setting.
