About the Role

n

I'm seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Test Lead to join a major enterprise transformation program involving the migration of critical operational data to a new platform. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can independently lead end-to-end data migration testing, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data throughout the testing lifecycle. This is not a traditional testing role - we're looking for someone who has owned data migration testing on large-scale transformation programs and can proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data issues with minimal guidance.

Required Experience

- Lead the end-to-end data migration testing lifecycle across a large enterprise transformation program.
n
- Develop and execute data validation, reconciliation, and verification strategies to ensure migration accuracy.
n
- Analyse and investigate data discrepancies, identifying root causes across source systems, ETL processes, and target platforms.
n
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, developers,



and business stakeholders to resolve defects and validate data transformations.
n
- Validate complex ETL processes and data warehouse migrations.
n
- Deliver testing outcomes autonomously within rapid-paced project timelines.

- 12+ years' experience in data migration, ETL, or data warehouse testing.
n
- Proven experience leading end-to-end testing for large-scale enterprise data migration projects.
n
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to perform complex data validation and reconciliation.
n
- Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage and/or Informatica.
n
- Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse environments.
n
- Exposure to BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
n
- Knowledge of SSIS, Kafka, and modern data integration technologies is highly regarded.
n
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a complex delivery environment.

You'll be someone who has owned testing workstreams - not simply executed test cases - and is confident making decisions, investigating issues, and driving successful migration outcomes.
