ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Working as part of our Operations team, you will assist with the refurbishment, repair, modification and installation of our modular building fleet.

n

This is a hands-on role that offers excellent variety. Based at our Narangba branch, you will also have the opportunity to work on-site supporting the installation, modification and commissioning of modular buildings on major infrastructure and construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

n
- Refurbishment, repair and internal fit-outs of modular buildings and complexes.
n
- Installation, modification and repair of prefabricated steel framing systems.
n
- General repairs and maintenance to relocatable buildings.
n
- Rectification of customer damage and preparation of assets for rehire.
n
- Assist with new asset modifications and upgrades.
n
- Attend customer sites to assist with the installation, modification and commissioning of modular buildings.
n
- Work alongside crane crews,



transport providers and installation teams during project deliveries.
n
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to Grove Hire's high-quality standards.
n
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workplace.
n
- Plan, schedule and prioritise maintenance activities based on operational requirements
n
- Conduct quality inspections and sign-off on completed works
n
- Develop proactive maintenance plans and extend asset life
n
- Ability to work in a team environment
n
- Assist with duties and asset handling as required
n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
- White Card.
n
- Current Driver Licence.
n
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
n
- Ability to interpret drawings and complete work to specification.
n
- Experience working with prefabricated steel framing (preferred but not essential).
n
- Experience in modular buildings, portable buildings, commercial fit-outs or building maintenance (highly regarded).
n
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude.
n
- Ability to problem solve and work independently.
n
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
n
