Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator / Portfolio Analyst to join a growing portfolio team within the insurance sector.

This is an initial 12-month contract opportunity, with a strong likelihood of extension.

n

The role will support portfolio governance, reporting, financial tracking and delivery coordination across a range of strategic initiatives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting governance forums, executive reporting and ensuring accurate portfolio information is available to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Support portfolio governance activities, including steering committees, governance forums, agendas, minutes and action tracking
n
- Prepare executive reporting, dashboards and governance packs
n
- Manage RAID processes, including risks, issues, dependencies and decisions
n
- Support project financial tracking, including budgets, forecasts, actuals and variance reporting
n
- Assist with investment governance, approvals and portfolio controls
n
- Maintain portfolio reporting accuracy and support continuous improvement of PMO processes
n

Key Requirements

n

n




- 3-5+ years' experience in a Portfolio Analyst, PMO, Project Coordinator or Project Controls role
n
- Experience supporting large-scale projects, programmes or portfolios
n
- Strong experience preparing governance packs, executive reporting and committee papers
n
- Solid understanding of RAID management, project governance and delivery reporting
n
- Strong financial literacy with experience tracking project financial information
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Office 365 skills
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
n

Desirable

- Financial services or insurance industry experience
n
- Experience working within Agile, Protected or traditional delivery environments
n
- Experience with Jira, Confluence or portfolio management tools
n
- PMO or project management certification
n

n
