Our Ozcare Aged Care at Home Branch based in Cairns is looking for a Casual Nurse to join the team.

Your Role

n

As a Registered Nurse you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation – our clients. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care across all age groups within the community, supporting a variety of clinical needs including complex wound care, palliative care, medication administration and chronic disease management. Your tasks will include:

n

- Initial assessment of client needs and implementation of ongoing care, including coordination, case management and care planning
n
- Delivering holistic, client-centred care in consultation with clients, families and the multidisciplinary team
n
- Monitoring, evaluating and documenting client progress in line with qualified and legal standards
n
- Administering and reviewing medications, treatments and clinical interventions
n
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and making referrals as required to support client outcomes
n
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives
n
