MAYDAY Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Workers Compensation Claims Consultant to join a leading personal injury and claims management insurerbased in Perth.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven team that supports injured workers throughout their recovery journey. You will play a key role in managing complex claims, driving positive outcomes and supporting individuals to successfully return to work.

The Opportunity

n

As a Senior Workers Compensation Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end workers compensation claims within a self-insured environment. Working as a senior member of the team, you will provide technical expertise, support escalations and contribute to continuous improvement across the claims function.

n

You will be passionate about delivering customer-focused outcomes while balancing legislative requirements, claim strategy and cost management.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage a portfolio of complex workers compensation claims from lodgement through to resolution
n
- Develop and implement proactive claims strategies to achieve optimal outcomes and minimise claim costs
n
- Assess liability, entitlements, payments and recovery opportunities in line with legislation and policy requirements
n
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, rehabilitation providers and internal stakeholders
n
- Manage rehabilitation and return-to-work plans to support successful recovery outcomes
n
- Provide coaching,



guidance and support to team members as a senior member of the claims function
n

About You

n

You will be an experienced Workers Compensation professional with a strong understanding of claims management and a genuine passion for supporting people through their recovery journey.

You will bring:

- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end workers compensation claims
n
- Strong knowledge of claims strategy, liability assessment and rehabilitation processes
n
- A customer-focused and empathetic approach
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Experience within a self-insured environment (highly regarded)
n
