About the engagement:
n Green Light is partnering up with a leading company to engage Active Directory Consultant to design, implement, and manage Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, and related identity services. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in securing, optimizing, and automating identity and access management (IAM) solutions to support the organization's security and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:
n
n
- Active Directory Management:n n
- Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD environments.
n
- Administer and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and compliance policies.
n
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of directory services.
n
n
- Identity & Access Management (IAM):n
n
- Implement and manage identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
n
- Automate identity lifecycle management processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).
n
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to mitigate identity threats and enhance directory security.
n
n
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:n
n
- Monitor AD and IAM services, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
n
- Perform security audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments for directory services.
n
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for AD environments.
n
n
- Integration & Collaboration:n
n
- Work with application and infrastructure teams to integrate authentication and authorization services.
n
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce identity governance and protect against unauthorized access.
n
- Provide technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and training to support teams.
n
n
- Technology & Best Practices:n
n
- Stay updated on emerging identity technologies, industry best practices, and security trends.
n
- Recommend and implement IAM enhancements to improve security posture and operational efficiency.
n
n
n
Required Skills & Experience:
n
n
- 5+ years of experience in Active Directory, Azure AD, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
n
- Strong expertise in Active Directory design, administration, and troubleshooting.
n
- Experience with Azure AD, AD Connect, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
n
- Hands-on experience with Group Policy Management (GPO), Kerberos, LDAP, and DNS.
n
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
n
- Experience implementing SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity federation.
n
- Understanding of Zero Trust security models, identity governance, and privileged access management (PAM).
n
- Familiarity with SIEM, identity analytics, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
n
