About the role

Lycetts Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an Account Executive to join our Newcastle office.

n

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Lycetts as an Account Executive where you'll manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing trusted advice, excellent service and tailored insurance solutions. Working closely with clients, insurers and colleagues, you'll play a key role in building long-term relationships and supporting business growth.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
n
- Building strong client relationships through regular reviews and risk discussions.
n
- Negotiating with insurers to secure competitive and appropriate cover.
n
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities.
n
- Delivering renewals, recommendations and client communications.
n
- Working with colleagues and insurer partners to achieve great client outcomes.
n
- Ensuring FCA compliance and maintaining accurate records.
n

What you'll need to have

n

n
- Experience in commercial insurance broking or underwriting
n




- Working understanding of relevant to role insurance products
n
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
n
- Ability to analyse and interpret insurance documentation and policy wordings.
n
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
n
- Negotiation skills when dealing with insurers and service partners.
n
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and broking software.
