Job Description

RPR Trades is currently seeking ahighly experienced Yard Supervisor / Leading Hand with extensive background in crane operations, rigging, and heavy equipment within large-scale construction and resources projects.

Ideal candidate will bring 10+ years' industry experience, including leadership of multi-discipline crane crews, strong safety and compliance focus, and hands‐on operational capability.

n

Must hold a broad range of High‐Risk Work Licences, ideally including Tower Crane (CT), Rigging (RI), Dogging (DG), Forklift (LF), Mobile Cranes (CN/C1/C6), EWP (>11m), plus HR driver's licence, White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space, and First Aid, MSIC highly regarded.

- Supervising yard or site‐based crane and lifting operations

- Planning and allocating daily work, equipment,



and labour

- Managing permits, paperwork, toolbox talks, and compliance
n
- Liaising with clients, superintendents, and internal stakeholders
n
- Leading teams in high‐pressure environments and resolving issues proactively
n

n

Solid leadership style, safety‐driven, highly organised, and capable of being the key operational problem‐solver in a busy yard or project environment. Solid computer literacy (MS Office) preferred.
