Base pay: A$111,275.00 – A$120,453.00 per year, plus 17% superannuation.

Responsibilities
n

- Administer platform operations and manage daily activities of the microscopy facility.
n
- Provide expert training and technical support to researchers using advanced microscopy techniques.
n
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure optimal performance of sophisticated microscopes.
n
- Contribute to research projects by offering microscopy expertise and troubleshooting.
n
- Collaborate with academic and professional staff to enhance platform capabilities and team success.
n

Qualifications
n
n
- Hold a degree in biomedical sciences, physics, or a related field with relevant microscopy experience.
n
- Hands‐on experience with optical microscopy techniques, including confocal and super‐resolution microscopy.
n
- Strong problem‐solving and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user training and support.
n
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
n
- Background in microscopy or biomedical sciences and a passion for supporting cutting‐edge research.
n
