Paralegal | Conveyancing & Probate

Queensland Government | Brisbane CBD | $60-$65 per hour + super | Contract to 12 February 2027

Join a busy in-house legal team where you'll manage conveyancing and probate matters, work closely with legal professionals, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to Queenslanders.

n

We're seeking an experienced Paralegal with solid conveyancing expertise to support a high-performing legal services team within a respected Queensland Government organisation.

n

The Opportunity

n

As part of a collaborative legal team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of legal services across a range of property and estate-related matters.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Managing residential and commercial conveyancing matters from commencement through to settlement
n
- Preparing and coordinating probate applications and related documentation
n
- Drafting legal correspondence and contracts
n
- Conducting property and title searches
n
- Managing legal files and maintaining accurate records
n
- Liaising with clients, legal professionals, government agencies and other stakeholders
n




- Supporting lawyers with property and probate-related matters as required
n
- Ensuring deadlines are met and matters are progressed efficiently
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal
n
- Solid end-to-end conveyancing experience
n
- Experience using PEXA
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- A professional and customer-focused approach
n
- Probate experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
n
