A respected, faith-based aged care provider in Sydney's Inner West is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Lifestyle Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs for residents. The Opportunity / Main Duties

- Develop and deliver an engaging, person-centred lifestyle and wellbeing program
- Build strong relationships with residents and families to understand what's meaningful to them
- Coordinate individual and group activities, special events, celebrations and outings
- Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, churches, volunteers, entertainers and community organisations
- Promote intergenerational and community engagement initiatives




- Create opportunities that celebrate residents' cultures, traditions and life experiences
- Manage lifestyle documentation and ensure compliance with aged care standardsSupport, mentor and inspire the lifestyle team and volunteers

What We're Looking For

- Experience in lifestyle, leisure, recreation, wellbeing or diversional therapy programs within residential aged care
- Qualifications in Leisure and Health, Diversional Therapy, Lifestyle, Community Services or a related discipline (equivalent experience will also be considered)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to bring new and creative ideas to life
- Strong organisational and leadership capabilities
- Understanding of person-centred care principles and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Ability to meet all aged care compliance and screening requirements
