Senior Pavement Engineer

Lead the design of critical infrastructure. At WSP, you'll do more than deliver designs—you'll shape the future of transport infrastructure. As a Senior Pavement Engineer, you'll take a leading role in designing durable, cost‐effective pavement solutions while guiding teams across complex, multi‐disciplinary projects.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Lead the design and review of flexible and rigid pavement systems
n
- Provide technical oversight on pavement materials, mix designs and concrete mix registers
n
- Drive high‐quality technical reporting, design documentation and drawing reviews
n
- Lead multidisciplinary collaboration on major infrastructure projects
n
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, supporting capability uplift
n
- Identify and manage risks across projects, applying safety in design principles
n
- Contribute to and review proposals,



including technical inputs and costings
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, quality systems and client requirements
n
- Influence project outcomes to deliver best‐for‐client, efficient and cutting-edge solutions
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- ~8+ years' experience in pavement engineering
n
- Strong expertise in flexible and rigid pavement design and technical reporting
n
- Solid understanding of geotechnical inputs (desirable)
n
- Proven ability to lead technical deliverables across projects
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
n
- Excellent time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities
n
- High attention to detail with a strong quality and delivery focus
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
n
- Chartered Engineer status (or close to completion)
