Job Description

We're currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager to join an advisory and accounting team supporting a diverse portfolio of clients including SMEs, private and large businesses. This role offers a robust mix of tax, compliance, advisory and client-facing work.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a hybrid work arrangement. The role offers long-term career development, exposure to larger clients and advisory-focused work, and the opportunity to grow toward future leadership responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Prepare and review tax returns, BAS and financial statements
n
- Support business advisory and tax planning engagements
n
- Manage client relationships and provide practical financial advice
n
- Review and support work completed by junior team members
n
- Work closely with senior leaders across a range of client engagements
n

Skills and Requirements

n

n




- Degree-qualified Accountant with CA/CPA qualification or currently working toward completion
n
- Minimum ~5 years' of experience within a public practice accounting, business services, or business advisory environment
n
- Experience supporting a diverse client portfolio including SMEs, private businesses, family groups, business owners and high-net-worth individuals
n
- Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns, BAS, financial statements and tax compliance work
n
- Must be an AU/NZ citizen or hold PR
n
