Winnchester Consulting is recruiting for a full-time Branch Assistant / Driver to join a busy trade supply branch in the Nowra area.

This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, working with customers, being active throughout the day and supporting a small branch team.

n

You will be involved in local deliveries, customer service, preparing orders, loading and unloading stock, keeping the branch organised, and supporting day-to-day branch operations.

n

About The Role

n

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm, including a 30-minute lunch break, with one Saturday per month.

n

The Role Includes:

n

n
- serving trade and retail customers;
n
- picking, packing and preparing customer orders;
n
- loading and unloading stock safely;
n
- completing local deliveries;
n
- helping keep the branch, yard and stock areas organised;
n
- processing sales, quotes and orders;
n
- supporting general branch operations; and
n
- building strong relationships with regular local customers.

About You

n

You do not need to have trade supply industry experience, although this would be well regarded.

n

This Role May Suit Someone With Experience In:

n

n




- delivery driving;
n
- warehousing;
n
- trade supply;
n
- building, hardware or plumbing supplies;
n
- retail or counter sales;
n
- logistics;
n
- manual handling or stock control; or
n
- customer service in a hands-on environment.
n

n

You will need to be reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, physically capable of regular manual handling and comfortable dealing with customers face-to-face.

n

Licences and requirements

n

You Will Need:

n

n
- a current C class driver's licence;
n
- a clean driving record;
n
- the ability to complete pre-employment checks, including right to work, psychometric testing and drug and alcohol testing.
n

n

An MR licence would be highly regarded. If you do not currently hold an MR licence, you must be willing to obtain one, with support available through the business.
