About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a friendly, practical and reliable Live-In Caretaker to join a well-established accommodation business in one of Victoria's most popular tourism destinations.

This is a permanent part time position with the possibility of full-time.

n

Your Day Might Include

n

n
- Welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins and enquiries.
n
- Using the Newbook booking system for basic reservations and guest administration.
n
- Keeping the grounds, gardens and shared facilities neat and well presented.
n
- Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs.
n
- Reporting maintenance issues and assisting contractors when required.
n
- Assisting with housekeeping during busy periods.
n
- Providing after-hours (on-call) assistance for genuine guest emergencies and urgent operational issues when required.

- Helping wherever needed to ensure guests enjoy a great stay.
n

About You

n

n
- We're looking for someone who:
n
- Enjoys working with people and providing great customer service.
n
- Is reliable, friendly and approachable.
n
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-presented property.
n
- Has practical handyman or maintenance skills.
n
- Has basic proficiency with Newbook or similar accommodation management software (preferred).
n
- Is comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office.
n
- Is comfortable living on-site and participating in an after-hours on-call arrangement.
n
- Can work independently and use initiative.
n
- Is flexible and happy to assist across all aspects of the operation.
n
- Experience in holiday parks, accommodation, hospitality or tourism is welcomed but not essential. We value a positive attitude, common sense and a willingness to learn.
