A-Plant Equipment is a family-owned heavy earthmoving equipment dry hire business with branches in Orange, NSW and Yatala, QLD. We're growing our Brisbane team and looking for a Rental Coordinator to join us.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Based at our Yatala branch, you'll be the first point of contact for customers hiring plant and equipment — managing bookings, coordinating logistics, and keeping our fleet moving efficiently across sites. You'll work closely with our Branch Manager and workshop team to ensure smooth handovers, on-time deliveries, and great customer service from quoting through to off-hire.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 + Super, based on experience

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Handle incoming hire enquiries, quotes, and bookings
n
- Proactively make outbound calls to generate and follow up hire opportunities — this is an essential part of the role, not just reactive order-taking
n
- Coordinate delivery and pick-up schedules with transport and workshop staff
n
- Maintain accurate hire records and fleet availability
n




- Liaise with customers on hire terms, extensions, and off-hires
n
- Support invoicing and hire documentation processes
n
- Build strong relationships with repeat and current customers
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

n
- Experience in equipment hire, transport/logistics coordination, or a similar customer-facing coordination role
n
- Confident, comfortable making proactive outbound sales/service calls — this is essential, not optional
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with 7am starts
n
- Earthmoving/construction industry knowledge highly regarded but not essential
n
- A proactive, team-first attitude
n
