About the Role

The Project Manager – Commissioning is responsible for the delivery of commissioning activities across a portfolio of renewable energy projects in Australia, ensuring equipment is installed, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with design, quality, safety, and operational requirements.

The role requires close coordination with customers, site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, including Head Office in Spain, and a strong focus on ownership, communication, and delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Create, maintain, and manage commissioning plans and schedules in alignment with overall project delivery requirements.

Manage commissioning activities from initiation through to completion, ensuring systems and equipment meet defined quality, performance, and operational standards.

Work closely with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and technical teams in Spain to coordinate commissioning activities and resolve issues in line with client-driven schedules.

Coordinate inspections, testing, and performance verification of equipment and systems, ensuring results are documented and corrective actions are identified and implemented where required.

Lead regular communication with project stakeholders, including site teams and clients,



providing updates on commissioning progress, system operation, and emerging issues.

Ensure commissioning activities are carried out in compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.

To besuccessful in this role youwill have:

Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with commissioning or late-stage project delivery experience in complex technical environments.

Experience working within the energy, renewables, electrical, or industrial sectors, or a similarly regulated and safety-critical industry.

Ability to operate effectively within client-driven schedules and constraints, while managing interfaces, risks, and delivery outcomes.

Strong problem-solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams, including remote and international teams.

Clear, confident communication skills, including the ability to lead discussions, resolve issues, and produce concise technical and project documentation.

A robust safety mindset, with the ability to identify, escalate, and manage safety risks in a commissioning environment.

Qualifications in Engineering,



Construction, Project Management, or Renewable Energy are desirable but relevant experience and capability are equally valued!
