Role Overview

n

The Warehouse Store person plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This position involves the accurate receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality control.

n

For the right person, this role offers genuine opportunities for career progression into senior warehouse, logistics, or operational leadership roles within the department.

Key Responsibilities

n

Receiving & Dispatch

n

n
- Accurately inspect, unload, check, and store incoming goods via containers and local couriers. Prepare and load outgoing orders in line with company standards.
n
- Familiarise yourself with daily deliveries and collections from our order system and Warehouse Manager.
n
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders on time and in line with company processes and standards.
n
- Efficiently deliver client orders on time and in line with company processes and standards.
n

Inventory Control & Warehouse

n

n
- Conduct and maintain regular stock takes to anticipate shortages.
n
- Report discrepancies and damaged stock items.
n




- Assist Warehouse Manager in making appropriate and forecast container orders of new stock from overseas and local suppliers.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment for optimal workflow.
n

Teamwork & Safety

n

n
- Safely handle and store glass and non-glass products to prevent damage or injury.
n
- Adhere to workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures at all times.
n
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in line with safety protocols.
n
- Ensure you follow all processes and policies.
n
- Collaborate with your team and assist other departments as required.
n
- Bring forward practical suggestions for improving workflows, safety, and inventory management.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or store person experience.
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
- Basic computer literacy for stock management systems.
n
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
n
- HR/LR truck license are highly regarded.
n
