Riviera Farms is a diversified, vegetable growing and processing enterprise based in East Gippsland, Victoria. We grow, process and distribute a wide variety of fresh produce - including salad, vegetables, lettuce varieties, broccoli, carrots and sweet corn. Our business has operations in Bairnsdale, Lindenow and the Stratford areas.

Riviera Farms is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Irrigation & Farm Maintenance Operatorto become an integral part of our farming team.

n

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work while helping maintain the efficient operation of a modern vegetable farm.

n

Main duties of this position:

n

Installation, operation and maintenance of irrigation systems

n

Monitoring irrigation performance and identifying issues

n

Tractor operation for various farming tasks

n

General farm maintenance

n

Machinery and equipment maintenance

n

Repairs to farm infrastructure

n





General farm work as required

n

Maintain accurate records of works carried out via cloud based software

n

Ensure OH&S; compliance in machinery operation and storage

n

Requirements for this position:

n

Be self-motivated and able to work independently

n

Show strong initiative and problem-solving skills

n

Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

n

Take pride in maintaining high standards of workmanship

n

Be physically fit and willing to work in varying weather conditions

n

Have experience with tractors and farm machinery (preferred)

n

Possess a current driver's licence

n

This position is full-time employment.
