Smile Quarter Dental Group in Bayside is looking for a full time Dental Receptionist - but honestly, we're looking for a people person first and a receptionist second.

If you're the type who lights up a room, remembers names after meeting someone once, and genuinely enjoys chatting with strangers, we want to hear from you. Dental experience helps, but it's not the main thing we're hiring for - your personality is.

About the role

n

- Full-time position,
n
- Warmly greeting patients and managing a busy front desk
n
- Booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments
n
- Managing phone enquiries and patient communications
n
- Processing payments and health fund claims (HICAPS, private health)
n
- Supporting the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly
n
- Providing administrative support to the dental team as required
n

About you

n
- Naturally outgoing, warm, and talkative - you're energized by people, not drained by them
n




- Confident starting conversations and making patients feel instantly comfortable, especially anxious ones
n
- Genuinely enjoys a busy, fast-paced front desk rather than finding it stressful
n
- Positive, upbeat energy that's contagious to the rest of the team
n
- Reliable, organised, and able to multitask between phones, bookings, and walk-ins
n
- Confident with computer systems, including scheduling and billing/practice management software
n
- Full Australian working rights or permanent residency
n
