Mental Health Support Worker (NDIS) – Krain Care Services

n

Location: Melbourne South East & Surrounding Areas
n Employment Type: Casual / Part-Time

n

Krain Care Services is seeking compassionate and motivated Mental Health Support Workers to support people living with psychosocial disabilities to achieve their recovery goals and live independently within the community.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Deliver person-centred, recovery-oriented psychosocial supports.

n

Assist participants with community access, daily living skills and capacity building.

n

Support participants to attend appointments, education, employment and social activities.

n

Promote independence, wellbeing and social inclusion.

n

Complete accurate case notes and incident reports.

n

Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators and other professionals.

n





Relevant Qualification in working with client with mental health disdabilities, Community Services, Disability or related field (or working towards).

n

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.

n

Working with Children Check (preferred).

n

Current First Aid & CPR.

n

Current Victorian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.

n

Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.

n

Experience supporting people with mental health, psychosocial disability or complex behaviours is highly regarded.
