Daylesford Cider is looking for skilled chefs to join our busy kitchen.

We're looking for an experienced chef to lead the kitchen team, with additional chefs in supporting roles. All positions will be required to work weekends.

n

At Daylesford Cider we craft award winning cider from heritage apples grown and crushed on site. We're open for tastings and lunch daily from 10 – 5pm.

n

As our business grows, we're looking to elevate our menu and expand our casual dining offer. We serve a relaxed lunch experience across our dining room, courtyard and terrace, and also cater for group packages, corporate events and weddings.

About the role:

- Running lunch service, leading the kitchen team to deliver high standards
n
- Menu development and specials to enhance our casual dining offer
n
- Costing dishes to deliver profitable menus
n
- Efficient ordering, stock rotation and waste management
n
- High standards of cleanliness,

About you:

n

n
- Experience in a similar fast-paced kitchen
n
- Good communication – you can get the best out of your team
n
- Passion for food, creating great dishes, sourcing the best local produce
n
- Reliable, calm under pressure, positive, professional attitude
n
- Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willing to obtain)
n
- Qualified to Cert III Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience) preferred
n
- A passion for cider would be a bonus!
