Key Responsibilities

n

Your day-to-day duties may include:

n

n
- Inventory Control: Track stock levels of rough and processed timber, hardware, and manufacturing consumables using inventory stocktake. Conduct regular stocktakes.
n
- Receiving & Dispatch: Unload delivery trucks, inspect incoming timber for damage or defects, and verify deliveries against purchase orders. Pack, strap, and label finished timber packs for delivery.
n
- Material Handling: Safely operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move cross beams, timber packs, and non-moving stock between mill zones and storage areas.
n
- Mill Support: Assist with the manual sorting, measuring, and stacking of timber products.
n

Skills & Experience

n

While experience is valued, attitude is even more important.

n

Preferred (but not essential):

n

n
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse or production environments.
n
- Experience operating machinery.
n
- Forklift License.
n
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
n
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures.
n
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
- Full training will be provided for the right applicants.
