About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled BIM & Revit Content Specialist to help shape the future of digital engineering, connected BIM and drafting within one of Australia's leading residential builders.

n

This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines strong technical Revit capability with a passion for BIM innovation, content creation, drafting excellence and user enablement.

n

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Revit content, championing BIM adoption across the business, and empowering our Product Design, Master Drafting and Production Drafting teams to achieve greater efficiency, consistency and accuracy.

n

The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex design technology challenges, creating scalable solutions, and enabling others to get the most from digital design platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Develop, maintain and govern a library of high quality Revit families and templates
n
- Create both simple and advanced parametric Revit families for residential construction products and components
n
- Establish standards, naming conventions and quality controls for BIM content
n
- Optimise Revit content for performance, usability and future scalability
n
- Maintain a centralised BIM content library and governance framework
n
- Drive BIM best practice adoption across Product Design, Master Drafting and Production Drafting functions
n
- Act as the internal BIM and Revit subject matter expert
n
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital capability development
n
- Build a strong community of practice across Design, Drafting and Product Development teams
n
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to improve data flow and system integration; and
n
- Support and optimise the broader Autodesk ecosystem.

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- You are a technically solid Revit professional who enjoys creating scalable solutions and helping others succeed
n
- Advanced Revit modelling skills
n
- Demonstrated experience creating high-quality parametric Revit families
n
- Strong understanding of BIM principles, standards and workflows
n
- Experience managing or maintaining BIM content libraries
n
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and train end users
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Experience working within design, drafting or construction environments; and
n
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience within volume building, residential construction or housing design
n
- Understanding of Product Development and Production Drafting processes
n
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk Docs
n
- Knowledge of Autodesk Forma and AI capabilities
n
- Basic understanding of using Dynamo or other automation technologies
n
- Exposure to digital engineering, rule-based design or design automation; and
n
- Understanding of data-driven modelling and BIM governance.
