Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our retail team at Eltham Lotto. This is a part time position based in Eltham, Victoria.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs and offering product recommendations
n
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card payments
n
- Maintain product displays and ensure the store is clean, well-organised and visually appealing
n
- Answer customer enquiries about products and pricing and store policies
n
- Handle customer complaints professionally and elevate issues to management when necessary
n
- Support promotional activities and merchandise displays as directed by management
n
- Comply with health, safety and security procedures at all times
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential for enthusiastic candidates
n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers
n
- A friendly, cheerful demeanour with a genuine desire to help customers
n
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work part-time hours (Monday,



Friday and Saturdays) with no late night trading
n
- Good numeracy skills and comfort using electronic point-of-sale systems
n
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry stock items, and perform repetitive tasks
n
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised store environment
n
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
