We are seeking an experienced Factory Hand/ Assembler for an Australian owned and operated manufacturer and provider of core telecommunications and electrical infrastructure products and services.

Day shift: 6am start
n
$33.85/hr
n
Temp to Perm prospect for the right candidate
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
- Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and competently;
n
- Assembly and fitting off of all fixtures as required;
n
- Taking specific work instructions from your leading hand and referencing drawings when required to perform series of tasks to correctly assemble and fit out sheet metal products;
n
- Assemble and prepare raw materials / products to feed the production line when required;
n
- Assist with the quality control of finished products, and touch up if required under direction;
n
- Pack, crate/palletise and dispatch materials as required;
n
n
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
n
n
- Ability to read engineering drawings(advantageous)
n
- Attention to detail, and a consistent approach to producing quality work;
n
- Physical strength and agility sufficient to perform the work required;
n
- Positive and enthusiastic, with a 'can do' attitude;
n
- Good written and oral communication skills a must;
n
n
