About the role

n

Park Furniture Australia is seeking a Trade Qualified Fabricator and Manufacturing Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to contribute to our manufacturing operations in Capalaba, QLD. In this dual-function role, you'll work across fabrication and general manufacturing duties, playing a vital role in the production of high-quality furniture components and assemblies. This position offers job security and career progression within a growing manufacturing operation, whilst allowing you to build on your technical expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

n

Fabricate and manufacture furniture components using various materials and techniques in accordance with specifications and quality standards

n

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, including welding equipment, cutting tools, and other manufacturing machinery

n

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accuracy in manufacturing processes

n

Perform welding tasks where applicable, ensuring strong,



high-quality welds that meet industry standards

n

Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies

n

Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

n

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and targets

n

Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, maintenance and reporting of any faults or damage

n

What we're looking for

n

Trade qualification in welding, fabrication, or related field

n

Proven experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

n

Strong proficiency in welding techniques and fabrication methods

n

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

n

Competency in operating manufacturing machinery and hand tools safely

n

Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to trades and manufacturing environments

n

Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship

n

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

n

Reliability and a strong, consistent work ethic

n





Previous experience in furniture manufacturing or a similar industry is desirable but not essential
