We have created a casual restaurant dining precinct in Brisbane Square with 7 venues & bars opening in Sep/Oct this year. We are now looking for a Hospitality Operations Professional to launch, lead, drive and manage this concept.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee daily venue operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensuring all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation
n
- Manage and lead a diverse team of staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture
n
- Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies
n
- Monitor and manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and revenue optimisation
n
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly
n
- Coordinate with various departments including food and beverage, security, maintenance,



and entertainment to ensure smooth operations
n
- Conduct regular venue inspections and maintenance scheduling to ensure facilities remain in excellent condition
n
- Analyse operational metrics and reporting to management, identifying trends and recommending improvements
n
- Plan and execute venue events, functions, and special occasions in coordination with relevant teams
n
- Implement and maintain operational systems and processes to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Proven experience in multi site venue management, hospitality operations, or a similar management role, preferably within the hospitality and tourism sector
n
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams of varying sizes
n
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and licensing regulations relevant to hospitality venues
n
- Proficiency in budget management, financial reporting, and cost control
n
- Outstanding customer service orientation and proven ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
n
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Proficiency with hospitality management systems and point-of-sale technology
n
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
n
- Flexibility to work wide-ranging hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
n
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification and Working with Children Check (if applicable) are desirable
