Coolchange Airconditioning is seeking an experienced A/C Technician to join our team in Frenchs Forest, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across residential and commercial properties. As an A/C Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive reliable, efficient cooling solutions and maintain the highest standards of service delivery. Key responsibilities
n
Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients
n
Diagnose faults and malfunctions in A/C units using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge
n
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance
n
Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards
n
Respond promptly to emergency call‐outs and provide efficient solutions to minimise downtime for clients
n
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and spare parts used
n
Communicate clearly with clients regarding work undertaken, costs and recommendations for future maintenance
n
Keep up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies and best practices in air conditioning systems
n
What we're looking for
n
Trade qualification or equivalent certification in air conditioning and refrigeration
n
Minimum 3-5 years' experience working as an A/C technician in the trades and services industry
n
Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles and electrical components
n
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools commonly found in air conditioning maintenance
n
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between job sites
n
Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
n
Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues to clients
n
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where necessary
n
Experience with both split system and ducted air conditioning systems is highly desirable
n
Knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems would be advantageous
n
