n
As demand across electrification, building optimisation, and energy transition continues to grow, we're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team.
n
This is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly contribute to decarbonisation outcomes across existing buildings, live operational environments, tenancy fitouts, and infrastructure upgrades.
n
From electrification and lighting upgrades through to EV infrastructure, submetering, and building optimisation initiatives, you'll play a hands‐on role delivering solutions that make a measurable impact.
n
You'll join a business that combines technical capability with agility, commercial thinking, and a genuine focus on delivering actionable outcomes for clients.
n
The Opportunity
n
Working within our Building Services team, you'll support the delivery of electrical engineering projects across commercial, industrial, retail, education, health, and mixed‐use developments.
n
The role will see you involved across the full project lifecycle including investigations, audits, feasibility, design, documentation, stakeholder coordination, delivery support, and commissioning.
n
A significant focus of the role will be working within existing and live operational buildings, helping clients modernise infrastructure and transition toward more sustainable building operations.
n
You'll work closely with clients, contractors, consultants, DNSPs, and internal engineering teams, becoming a trusted advisor through practical and technically sound solutions.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
- Deliver electrical engineering solutions across existing buildings, tenancy fitouts, and small‐scale new builds
n
- Support electrification and decarbonisation projects including gas‐to‐electric transitions and infrastructure upgrades
n
- Deliver lighting design and LED replacement programs
n
- Design and support submetering and energy monitoring solutions

n
- Undertake site investigations and infrastructure condition assessments
n
- Coordinate with DNSPs regarding network availability and infrastructure requirements
n
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and sustainability teams
n
- Support commissioning, defect resolution, and project closeout activities
n
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to ongoing business growth opportunities
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is technically capable, commercially aware, and enjoys working closely with clients to solve real‐world challenges.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
- Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering
n
- Professional Engineer Registration (NER, RPEQ, CPEng or equivalent), or actively working toward registration
n
- Experience within electrical building services or consulting engineering environments
n
- Experience working across existing building upgrades and live operational environments
n
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and building systems
n
- Experience with lighting design, infrastructure upgrades, and submetering solutions
n
- AutoCAD capability
n
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A proactive, collaborative, and solutions‐focused approach
n
Experience across electrification, energy transition, lighting, renewable energy,
or EV infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
n
