General Medicine RegistrarRACP Accredited Basic Physician Training | Major Regional Referral Hospital | Queensland An exciting opportunity is available for a General Medicine Registrar to join a major regional referral hospital in Queensland.
n
This position offers excellent exposure to both General and Acute Medicine within a supportive, physician-led department and is ideally suited to doctors undertaking RACP Basic Physician Training or those looking to broaden their experience in internal medicine.
n
Working alongside experienced Consultant Physicians, Registrars and multidisciplinary teams, you will manage a diverse range of acute and chronic medical conditions while developing your clinical skills in a well-supervised teaching environment.
n
The Role As a General Medicine Registrar, you will provide inpatient and outpatient care across a broad range of medical specialties while participating in an established physician training program.

Training & Professional Development

This position offers an excellent opportunity to progress through RACP Basic Physician Training.

The department is accredited for up to 12 months of Core Training in General Medicine, including:
n

- 6 months General Medicine
n
- 6 months Core Subspecialty Rotation, including:n n
- Cardiology
n
- Medical Oncology
n
- Nephrology
n
n
n

Requirements Applicants Should Possess

- Eligibility for registration with AHPRA / Medical Board of Australia
n
- Appropriate General Medicine experience suitable for Registrar level
n
- Participation in, or eligibility for, RACP Basic Physician Training is desirable
